Live on Skysports 1: Wed 19.45: Celtic, desperate for 3 points in the SPL, are 1/2 with Totesport to beat Hearts at Tynecastle.
Over their last nine meetings between the two at Tynecastle, Hearts narrowly have the upper hand over Celtic, having won four to the Hoops’ three but Neil Lennon’s men should level things up in the pair’s latest clash.
Desperate for the three points as the SPL title race goes to the wire, Celtic are 1/2 courtesy of Totesport to come out on top and keep the pressure on Rangers but they won’t find it easy to shake off a Jambos team, with five draws in six to their name.
Jim Jefferies’ side will also be able to include both Marius Zaliukas, left out in the 4-0 defeat at Rangers and Eggert Jonsson, who red card in that match has been appealed, so the hosts’ should theoretically look a little more solid at the back than they did at Ibrox.
A close encounter looks inevitable then, especially as the Hoops may start to feel the pressure and so rather than backing a straightforward away win, punters might be better served risking a smaller stake on a Celtic triumph by a one-goal margin at 11/4 with Boylesports.
Elsewhere, Inverness have to be fancied at 5/4 () to get the better of Hibs, whose last four games have seen them lose to bottom club Hamilton twice, go down to St Johnstone and draw with struggling St Mirren.
Also at 5/4 meanwhile, this time with Betfred, are Motherwell, who entertain Kilmarnock.
Recommended Bets:
Celtic to beat Hearts by one goal – 11/4 (Boylesports)
Inverness to beat Hibs – 5/4 ()
