Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Friday, both tonight at Cork; Divine Rhapsody (6.30) and Mossey Joe (7.35). Compare odds
Despite plenty of domestic action, Friday’s two selections come from the evening card over at Cork where it is hoped that Divine Rhapsody (6:30) finally makes his debut over obstacles in the 3m maiden hurdle.
The smart bumper performer has been pulled out a couple of times recently, when selected in this column, and he should have too much for this lot if the ground is deemed suitable.
Mossey Joe (7:35) was a winner for the column 10 days ago, when making a successful chasing debut and the eight-year-old is taken to make it two from two in the Dromahane Chase.
A very smart novice hurdler last term, the chestnut took a couple of chances last week but generally jumped soundly and he has a serious engine. Despite taking on more experienced rivals here, it will be disappointing if he can’t follow up and he was trading at Evs overnight.
Friday’s selections:
6:30 Cork Divine Rhapsody
7:35 Cork Mossey Joe
