The Qipco 2,000 Guineas runner-up, Dubawi Gold, is 2-1 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s Abu Dhabi Irish 2,000 Guineas, following the final declarations for the Curragh Classic. Dunboyne Express is the 9-4 second favourite, ahead of Roderic O’Connor at 3-1.
“Dubawi Gold is favourite for the Irish 2,000 on the back of his second place behind Frankel at Newmarket, but punters definitely prefer the claims of Dunboyne Express, and Kevin Prendergast’s charge could well start favourite on Saturday,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Elsewhere, the ‘Budapest Bullet’, Overdose, is 2-1 favourite with Coral for his first British start in Saturday’s Temple Stakes at Haydock, while Dancing Rain, second at Newbury last Friday, is 16-1 (from 25-1) for the Investec Oaks.
“It’s been a terrific flat season so far, and Overdose is the latest star to appear. It may be his first start on UK soil, but punters will be fully aware of his talents and he’s a worthy favourite for the Temple Stakes,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
