Live on BBC 1: Sun 13.00: Sebastien Vettel landed a 4th pole position in Turkey and is the clear 8/13 fav with Paddy Power to win.
A strong performance for Vettel and Red Bull put him on pole for the Turkish GP, 0.405 seconds ahead of teammate Mark Webber, who is 4/1 with bet365 to take victory. Vettel is in from 11/8 pre qualifying.
Lewis Hamilton drifts from 4/1 to as high as 17/2 with Stan James after finishing 4th on the grid. Not all is lost for the McLaren driver, he has plenty of ability and a podium place shouldn’t be ruled out.
Mercedes had a pretty good day – Nico Rosberg just sneaking into 3rd ahead of Hamilton, the German still 10/1 with Totesport while his teammate and fellow countryman, Michael Schumacher, looked good until being bumped down to 8th, he is unfancied at 50’s with Betfred.
Alonso and Massa are 5th and 10th respectively and command odds of 16/1 and 60/1 respectively, both with Stan James.
Finally, Jenson Button starts in 6th place and Sportingbet rate him at 25/1 but he enjoys the course and Paul di Resta, the third and somewhat unknown Brit on the circuit, starts 13th on the grid, making him 7/5 to make the points.
