Beatrice Aurore has been cut to 20/1 (from 33/1) by totesport for the Investec Oaks following her victory in the Casco Stakes at Goodwood on Wednesday afternoon.
John Dunlop’s filly showed a smart turn of foot to beat Highest by a length-and-a-half and her trainer was quite upbeat about running her in the fillies’ classic afterwards.
“Beatrice Aurore showed that she’s going the right way in the Height Of Fashion Stakes and whilst she surely won’t prove to be as good as last year’s winner Snow Fairy, her Goodwood victory suggests she won’t look out of place at Epsom,” said totesport spokesman George Primarolo.
Blue Bunting remains the 2/1 favourite for the Oaks with totesport whilst Havant has also been nibbled into 5/1 (from 6/1) this afternoon.
Later on the card, Masked Marvel took the IBA Cocked Hat Stakes and has been cut to 25/1 (from 33/1) for the Investec Derby by totesport.
Looking ahead to Royal Ascot, Delegator has been trimmed in the market for the Golden Jubilee after his successful reappearance at York last week and is now 8/1 (from 10/1) with totesport.
