Amir Khan is the red hot 1/12 fav with Coral bookmakers to defeat Paul McCloskey when the two meet for the WBA Light-Welterweight title in Manchester on Saturday night. McCloskey is a 13/2 underdog, with the draw priced at 33/1.
Defending champion Khan has lost only one of his 25 contests, while European champion McCloskey is undefeated in 22.
“Although Khan has undoubtedly more experience at the higher level and is priced as if defeat is out of the question, McCloskey is undefeated and should not be underestimated,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
Coral make Khan 14/1 to win in the first round and 3/1 to win on points.
The fight takes place at the MEN Arena in Manchester on Saturday
