Live on Skysports 1 & 3: Thu 05.30 & 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Zurich Classic and the Ballantine’s and picks his bets.
The tussle for World Number 1 spot has added great intrigue to an exciting start to 2011 and Lee Westwood is 6/1 (bet365) market leader to win the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea – he can easily win but it is not a value price.
I like Thongchai Jaidee a player who will love the course and climate and at 22/1 (Coral) looks decent value.
It is hard to know what to make of Dustin Johnson but at 14/1 with Betfred it is worth including in your portfolio this week. Danny Lee looks the pick of the outsiders at 40/1 with Ladbrokes.
Luke Donald was unlucky not to win last weeks Heritage and become World Number 1; he is Sportingbet’s 10/1 market leader in The Zurich Classic and has obvious claims while Nick Watney should go well at 14/1 (Paddy Power).
I really like the chances of KJ Choi at 28/1 with and think he should give backers a great run for their money while Bubba Watson, also at 28/1 with Totesport, has obvious claims on a course he plays well at.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
