Further money has emerged for leading William Hill Lincoln runner Taqleed in the last 24-hours, into 4/1, as the countdown to the traditional curtain-raiser to the Flat Season continues.
Sponsors William Hill were forced to cut the John Gosden runner a further half-point to 4/1 from 9/2 today after further support, with Gunner Lindley another cut to 12/1 from 14/1 after attracting additional money.
Kate Miller, spokeswoman for William Hill, said: ‘’the support for Taqleed has refused to abate with a further flow of money for him today. He could go off as short of 5/2 if the money continues, and possibly even shorter if he bags a plum position in Thursday’s draw process.’’
