Spain are the 2/1 favs with Coral bookmakers to win the Davis Cup for the third time in four years and have been backed in from 9/4 to do so.
Spain will have a fit Rafa Nadal in the line up against last 16 opponents, Belgium.
“Spain have proved in the past that a fit Nadal makes all the difference to their chances of winning. So with him announced as playing, punters have been quick to back them,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
Defending champions, Serbia, are the second favourites at 7/2, with last years beaten finalists France at 5/1. The USA have been backed into 8/1 (from 10/1).
