Coral is quoting Somersby at 4/1 2nd fav for the Ryanair Chase, after trainer Henrietta Knight said the race could be the 7-year-old’s target, rather than the Champion Chase, for which he is the 7/1 fourth favourite.
“Those backers holding Champion Chase vouchers for Somersby will be hoping connections do not perform a U-turn on the shorter race, but if he does go for the Ryanair Chase, we would regard him as a major player in the longer race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
