With just 9 days to go until the Cheltenham Festival, we can expect a relatively quite week ahead (with the exception of Sandown’s Imperial Cup card next Saturday) and Sunday’s action isn’t overly exciting.
The one horse that leaps off the page, however, is Qalinas (4:10) who ran a cracker at Sandown last Friday and it would appear that David Pipe is desperate to get a win into his four-year-old to give him a chance of getting into the Fred Winter at the Festival.
The son of Malinas has progressed with each start to date and should appreciate the easier track and better ground.
