Live on Skysports 2 & 3: Thu 09.30 & 21.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Transitions Championships and Sicilian Open .
Nick Watney came of age on Sunday with his win at Doral and is rapidly developing into one of the leading contenders for all the big titles and the current 20/1 (Coral) for Augusta looks very fair.
Watney is so consistent at present he will be popular at 13/1 with Paddy Power for this week’s Transitions Championship.
VJ Singh looks a big price at 33/1 (Betfred), he is playing some great golf at present and looks sure to click in coming weeks while Bubba Watson at 28/1 with bodog is another for the potfolio and has improved greatly since his 3rd behind Jim Furyk here 12 months ago.
The Sicilian Open looks wide open and could give Chris Wood a chance at 20/1 (Skybet) to get the job done.
Scotsman Marc Warren looks over the odds here at 135/1 (Stan James) in an event where you could easily pick 20 and miss the winner but with none of Europe’s top guns playing, that offers others the chance of a Tour Title.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
