Live on Skysports 1: Thu 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Honda Classic in Florida, starting on Thursday.
Colombian Camilo Villegas won the 2010 Honda Classic in a canter by 5 shots last year and despite a quiet time of it recently looks a huge price at 66/1 with Coral to repeat his triumph of 12 months ago.
Graeme McDowell, 16/1 at Betfred, also has a great chance this week. He played really well in the early stages here last season and went on to land US Open and it is the sort of course which is ideal for his game.
Luke Donald produced flawless Golf to win the Matchplay in Tuscon last week and any reproduction of that form would see him hard to beat and make a mockery of 16/1 odds on offer here with Betdaq. He has course form having finished runner up to Ernie Els here in 2008.
Robert Allenby looks to have a solid chance and at 33/1 with bet365 is the each way bet in the event. He has earnt backers a place dividend in 3 of last 4 Honda Classics and although he missed the cut here last season, he has shown enough early season form to merit support here in a great event that should make compellng viewing on Sky over next few days.
Good luck
Angus Loughran
