Live on Skysports 1: Thu 19.00: Week 4 of the Premier League sees Gary Anderson the 8/13 fav (Ladbrokes) to beat James Wade.
Anderson has blown away the darts world of late with his explosive performances, the latest of which left Mark Webster smarting after an 8-1 bashing. Anderson lines up a stop start James Wade in his sights tonight and at 8/13 (Ladbrokes), has a great chance to make it 4 from 4.
Raymond van Barneveld attempts to break his Premier League duck against Phil Taylor tonight; the Dutchman is winless in 10 attempts against Taylor and is 9/2 with Skybet to finally get that win.
After a poor opening day, Taylor has looked pretty good these last 2 weeks but at 8/15 (Stan James) is perhaps a little short for surely what will be a very close match, even if the history doesn’t suggest it. Paddy Power’s even money about Barney with a +2.5 frame headstart is a good shout.
Whitlock finished last week at a nice canter and at 5/6 (888sport) is the best bet of the evening as he faces Terry Jenkins. The latter has laboured a touch since beating Barneveld on the opening day.
Finally, Webster and Lewis will fight out a close match, Webster is 2/1 (Totesport) but will be smarting after an 8-1 panning last week to Anderson. Lewis has suffered 8-6 defeats 2 weeks in a row but this will be very close; an 8-6 win for Lewis is 11/2 (YouWin.com) while a 3rd straight 8-6 reverse is 11/1 (bet365).
