21 have declared for Sandown’s Heroes Handicap Hurdle on Saturday, with William Hill reporting support for Mister Hyde, now 7/1 from 10/1.
The six-year-old appreciated the switch to handicap company when winning at Towcester in November, before finishing a decent sixth to Grands Crus at Cheltenham, although well beaten. He arrives on the back of a good win back with the novices at Plumpton latest.
A number of rivals are set to re-oppose, with Nicky Henderson’s Lush Life, ahead of Mister Hyde when they last met, topping the betting at 11/2. Winner of a competitive Prestbury handicap on his last start, he boasts a victory over classy Champion Hurdle fancy Menorah as a career highlight.

As far as we’re concerned, Mister Hyde certainly looks the bookies’ villain amongst these Heroes’.
