Master Minded Fav Of Fifteen

Master Minded (5/2, 888sport) is the fav for the Queen Mother Champion Chase at this year’s Cheltenham Festival amongst 15 horses.

Starting with the Tingle Creek Chase at Prestbury Park back in December, the 8-yr-old has won his last 3 races.

Master Minded won his only race of this year to date with a success over Somersby (7/1, Boylesports), one of the rivals at Cheltenham, at Ascot.

The 2009 champion chaser is one of two Paul Nicholls-trained horses, the other being Woolcombe Folly, who comes in at 8/1 with Sportingbet, while Tchico Polos is a withdrawl.

Forpadydeplasterer, Petit Robin and Crack Away Jack are also amongst the withdrawals, but there are still plenty of high quality horses in the final 15.

Last year’s winner Big Zeb is applying the pressure at 10/3 (Stan James) and Golden Silver looks a good bet at 14’s (Totesport) and could be the main challengers to Master Minded, who has been withdrawn from the Ryanair Chase.
