 were forced to cut today’s Game Spirit Chase winner French Opera from 33s to 25/1 for the Champion Chase after he was originally cut from 40s to 33s in the immediate aftermath of his Newbury success.

spokesperson Charlie McCann: “We thought it was a poor renewal of the race and our immediate reaction was to trim winner French Opera from 40s to 33s but that didn’t last long and it would appear that the horse will be going for the Big One and not the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual.“
