Barnsley v Ipswich
BARNSLEY centre-half Stephen Foster has a very good chance of being involved after sitting out recent games with a shin injury and Nathan Doyle is hoping to be included. With ten players away on international duty, IPSWICH will be sweating on general fitness while Luciano Civelli is targeting his first start in two years.
Bristol City v Leeds
Nicky Maynard could make the BRISTOL CITY bench after a lengthy layoff but striker John Akinde (hernia) looks to be out for the remainder of the season and Steven Caulker (head) will have to be assessed on the day. LEEDS have brought in Eric Lichaj on loan and will act as cover to Paul Connolly (hamstring), who is unlikely to play.

Coventry v Crystal Palace
COVENTRY skipper Lee Carsley (Achilles) continues to occupy the treatment room and Sammy Clingan (knee) will have to be assessed after a twinge on a long-term injury but Nathan Cameron is available. Lee Hills (knee) remains out for Crystal Palace and Dean Moxey will keep his place ahead of Adam Barrett.
Derby v Leicester
Dean Leacock returns from suspension for DERBY but Russell Anderson (calf) and Jake Buxton (back) are still injured while Tomasz Cywka could drop back to the bench. Miguel Vitor is in line to take a place on LEICESTER’s bench after ninety minutes midweek but Sven-Goran Eriksson is unlikely to change his starting line-up.
Doncaster v Portsmouth
DONCASTER will welcome back James Coppinger after an ankle injury while Neil Sullivan, Matt Kilgallon and Mark Wilson can be called upon but James Hayter (Achilles) could be out for four weeks. Carl Dickinson (knee) wont feature unless needed and will sit on the bench due to POMPEY’s stretched squad and Danny Webber (knee) is out.
Hull v Preston
Robert Koren is a doubt for HULL with a groin injury, Tijani Belaid could start in his place. James Harper (foot) remains sidelined but Liam Rosenior (concussion) should return. PRESTON add Conor McLaughlin (broken leg) to a lengthy injury list, which includes Keith Treacy, Callum Davidson and David Gray.
Middlesbrough v Swansea
BORO defender Matthew Bates (hamstring) misses out, Jonathan Grounds or Maxi Haas will step in. Willo Flood is back in training but some way from a return while Barry Robson is still battling back from a badly gashed leg. David Edgar hopes to force his way into the squad for SWANSEA, who have no fresh concerns.
Norwich v Reading
NORWICH boss Paul Lambert could field the same line-up that lost at Burnley. Andrew Surman is on the comeback trail after a knee injury but this game comes a bit too soon. Mikele Leigertwood is suspended for READING who will stick with Jay Tabb in midfield. Brian Howard is hoping to be included in the squad.
Sheff Utd v Millwall
UNITED striker Ched Evans should return after illness but Rob Kozluk and Lee Williamson are suspended and Nyron Nosworthy won’t be considered. Steve Morison remains doubtful for Millwall, Hameur Bouazza has almost recovered from a knee injury but will probably have to wait until next week to make his Lions debut.
Watford v Burnley
Lloyd Doyley is a doubt for WATFORD with a hamstring injury but Don Cowie has an outside chance of featuring following thigh trouble. BURNLEY attacker Martin Paterson has suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury. Marvin Bartley hopes to make his Clarets debut having been an unused substitute against Norwich.
QPR v Nott’m Forest – Sun
QPR could welcome back Tommy Smith (hamstring) after he missed the win at Reading, Heidur Helguson should recover from groin trouble but Hogan Ephraim is suspended. Guy Moussi (thigh) may miss the rest of the season for FOREST while a similar injury is preventing Robbie Findley from making his debut.
