Live on Skysports 1 & 3: Thu 06.00 & 20.00: Angus Loughran previews this week’s Dubai Desert Classic and the Pebble Beach AT&T.
Tiger Woods would love to return to winning action at the Dubai Desert Classic this week and at 6/1 (Boylesports) will be a popular selection to do so.
Woods has won here twice and despite being winless since November 2009 should be backed to do so on a course which suits his game perfectly.
Martin Kaymer, 11/2 fav with Stan James, looks the big danger despite blowing out in Qatar last week where Thomas Bijorn returned to form and he should play well again and is 55/1 with Betfred to achieve back to back wins. Ross Fisher and Edorado Molinari are the two outsiders that should be included in this weeks betting portfolio in Dubai, they are 40/1 (888sport) and 28/1 (William Hill) respectively.
Dustin Johnson returns to Pebble Beach for the AT & T pro-am, the course he should have won last years US Open at.
He is maturing as a player greatly and in a very open event is the one to beat at 13/2 with Bwin. Nick Watney is one of the most underated players on PGA Tour and should once again give backers a great run for there money at 16/1 ().
