Paul Ferguson casts his eye towards Musselburgh today and has one selection for us; On His Own (1.20).
Plenty of interesting runners at Huntingdon on Friday and it is a card to pay close attention to with an eye on the future.
The Henderson trio are certainly worth keeping tabs on, but for the day’s selection I’m heading up to Musselburgh and On His Own (1:20) in the beginners’ chase.
Nine De Sivola returns from a lengthy lay-off and has plenty of chase experience under his belt, but the selection was a real eye-catcher at Cheltenham last time when fourth to Bobs Worth in a decent novice hurdle.
He jumped like a future chaser and, having won a point-to-point and a bumper in Ireland before joining Howard Johnson, the son of Presenting appeals as the type to come in to his own over fences.
With such a big day ahead on Saturday and plenty of betting opportunities (Kempton stages a bumper 9 race card), I’m happy to make On His Own Friday’s sole selection.
Friday’s selection:
1:20 Musselburgh On His Own
