Paul Ferguson has one tip for us today to try and get the week off to a winning start; Ranjobaie in the 13.40 at Plumpton.
Have You Seen Me already has a mark of 139 over fences and sets a fair standard in the SIS Live Novices’ Chase at Plumpton on Monday.
However, Ranjobaie (1:40) was a better hurdler and is worth chancing in receipt of 6lbs, despite the fact that he unseated on his chasing debut in the Dipper at Cheltenham on New Year’s Day, a race that Have You Seen Me finished fourth in.
That was a baptism of fire on his debut for Venetia Williams, but he can be expected to improve and he was a smart novice hurdler last season for Nicky Henderson.
He got close to Menorah on his British debut and also took the scalp of the useful Bygones Of Brid, before finishing third in the EBF Final at Sandown.
Monday’s selection:
1:40 Plumpton Ranjobaie
