Kauto Star remains Coral’s 4/5 fav for the King George VI Chase but it’s The Nightingale who is getting all the attention today.
Kauto Star is 4/5 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s rearranged King George VI Chase, but it’s the four times winner’s stablemate, The Nightingale, who has been supported today, and the eight-year-old is now 16/1 (from 20/1) for the Kempton highlight.
“If the weather forecast is correct, Saturday’s race could be run on fairly testing ground, and punters seem to think such conditions will suit The Nightingale, who’s been the best backed King George contender in tbe last 24 hours,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
Looking further ahead, last year’s Coral Scottish Grand National winner, Merigo, has been backed for this year’s John Smith’s Grand National, and is now 25/1 (from 33/1) for the Aintree race.
