Live on BBC2: Fri 19.00: Dean Winstanley, the 3rd seed, is 5/4 (William Hill) to beat Stephen Bunting in the quarters of the BDO Worlds.
It’s certainly tempting to take on the 3rd seed at odds against at the quarter final stage but his opponent, Stephen Bunting, has come through against tough opposition and now must justify his 8/11 quote (Boylesports) in his biggest match yet.
It weill certainly be a close contest and the 8/11 on Winstanley (Totesport) with a +1.5 set headstart can’t be ignored.
The evening’s other game sees unseeded Jan Dekker the 4/5 fav (Skybet) against Garry Thompson, a 2.25 (5/4) shot at Betdaq. With a demolition of the fancied Stuart Kellett, Dekker is a force to be reckoned with and could force his way through here; 5-3 and 5-4 are both 5/1 at Ladbrokes.
