Live on Skysports 1: Sun 03.00: It’s now 3 defeats on the spin in all formats for England but they are 7/6 (Betdaq) to arrest that.
England looked like a good bet to take the 2nd ODI and looked well in control when the hosts were 142-8 but again Australia were saved by a big innings from one man (this time Shaun Marsh) and some poor batting.
England’s attack can continue to bother the Australians in the 3rd ODI and if the Baggy Greens are to justify their 4/5 tag (Boylesports), they’ll need another match winning performance from somebody – Shane Watson (7/2, William Hill, top score) or maybe Cameron White (11/2, Betfred).
England must take this oppurtunity to get back into a series slipping away from them – 2-0 down after 2 and they are 4/1 with Ladbrokes to haul it back for the win.
This ODI is a good place to start then. Ian Bell showed glimpses of good form and we had him as 11/2 top scorer last time, he came in as a dead heat but we’ll go for him again at 9/2 with Totesport.
Prior, Pietersen and Trott must perform but England can win this.
