Live on Skysports 2 & 3: Thu 08.30 & 22.30: Angus Loughran previews the Africa Open and Hyundai Tournament in Hawaii.
The 2011 Golf year is eagerly anticipated and I fancy Dustin Johnson at 12/1 (bet365) to get us off to a winning start in Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Kapalua.
The Plantation Course suits his game to perfection and with several top players who could have played missing, this looks a great chance for the huge hitting American, who is one to follow in 2011. Ernie Els won here 7 years ago and plays here rather than the African Open in East London and is worth a saver at 10/1 with Coral. It is a limited field with no cut and bookies all pay 1/4 first 4 each way.
Open Champion Louis Oosterhuizen could have gone for the money in Hawaii but plays in the African Open instead and looks well worth supporting at 9/1 (Betfred) alongside Charl Schwartzel (11/2, Paddy Power), who is another to watch in 2011; he ended 2010 with a couple of decent finishes and should give backers a decent run for their money. Robert Rock looks an each way alternative at 30/1 with Stan James with 5 places here.
You could try Dustin Johnson and Charl Schwartzel in each way double.
