Woods 6/4 To Win First Major

Stan James have opened a market on which of the top two golfers in the World Rankings (Lee Westwood and Tiger Woods) will win a Major first next year.

The Gibraltar based bookie and make neither favourite at Evens with Woods 6/4 and Westwood 4/1.

Head of PR at Stan James Charlie McCann told betrescue‘s golf desk: ” Westwood was magnificent in Sun City this week beating a high-quality field by eight shots and a, seemingly, rejuvenated Woods is four clear of his field in the Chevron World Challenge in California.

Westwood was runner-up at Augusta in 2010 and Woods has worn the Green Jacket four times previously but both will be desperate, for different reasons, to win a Major Title in 2011. But who if any will be first?”
