Live on British Eurosport: Sat 13.30: Shaun Murphy is Stan James’ 8/15 fav to beat Mark Williams in the 2nd semi of the UK Championships.
Murphy causd a bit of a shock by beating world Champion Neil Robertson in the quarters but could be on the end of a surprise himself as Williams, 13/8 at bet365, may have been slightly underestimated.
Some argued that Murphy was slightly lucky against Robertson, missed long pots landing in lucky places on more than a few occasions and Murphy himself admitted he did not expect to win in the manner he did.
Williams managed to hold off a high-quality Joyce performance and looks quite in control of his game; the 13/8 at bet365 is almost too much to resist.
