With just five days to go until the big day, bookmaker Coral has once again cut the odds on it being a White Christmas across the UK.
Abderdeen is the most likely place to get festive snowfall according to the odds, at 8/13 with Coral, while London is down to 11/10, the shortest odds the city has been at this stage of the year.
“The big freeze is causing problems for many across the UK at present, but the multi-million pound payout that the bookies will face if it snows on Christmas Day will be some compensation to the record number of punters who have had a White Christmas flutter this year,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
