The racing is back on and Paul Ferguson has two top tips for Tuesday at Kempton; Journeyman (12.50) and Spanish Treasure (1.20).
Journeyman (12:50) is fancied to land the opening bumper for the newly crowned Sports Personality Of The Year, AP McCoy.
Third on his debut at Worcester in May, when the four-year-old looked rather clueless for the majority of the contest, he has been selected twice here in recent weeks and missed both engagements due to the weather.
Nicky Henderson’s charge looks more than capable of landing a bumper before going hurdling.
Paul Nicholls’ Dark Lover was an impressive winner over hurdles recently and will, therefore, be a warm order in the second race on the card, but he might be worth taking on with Spanish Treasure (1:20) who landed a bumper at the Punchestown Festival in taking fashion for Eddie Hales.
The son of Black Sam Bellamy has since been bought for £105,000 and is now trained by Andrew Turnell.
Tuesday’s selections:
12:50 Kempton Journeyman
1:20 Kempton Spanish Treasure
