Cheltenham Town are a pretty decent 5/4 (William Hill) to beat Southend in League 2 but the home side need to be on their guard.
Cheltenham have drifted in to a habit of drawing lately, 3 of their last 4 homes games have ended that way and Ladbrokes say 12/5 that this one will go the same way.
Southend, 5/2 at Coral, are right down at the wrong end of the table, just a point above the drop zone, which hides the fact they have achieved draws away at decent Shrewsbury and Gillngham and lost narrowly away to high-flyers Bury and Chesterfield.
However, with just 1 win in 8 attempts, Southend are a hard case to back. Cheltenham should win this one but just need to be a little wary of getting bogged down and dragged into another draw. The cautious can back the home side at 4/7 (Stan James) to win on the draw no bet market while Wesley Thomas is a 11/2 (bet365) chance to break the deadlock.
