Coral make Tony McCoy odds-on favourite at 10-11 but the jockey has drifted back from 8-11 in recent days, while the same firm have seen huge gambles on Phil Taylor, 11-2 (from 50-1), and Graeme Swann, 10-1 (from 40-1) in recent weeks
The majority of bets this week have been for Irish golfer, Graeme McDowell, backed in to 7-2 (from 4-1) today.
“This year has been the best betting year ever on the event, with half a dozen different favourites and all ten finalists well supported,” Coral spokesman Gary Burton tiold betrescue.com. “Taylor and Swann are the worst results for us, and though Tony McCoy will cost us a lot of money too, we will be paying out with a smile!”
