Coral report good money for a March Royal Wedding next year, into 6/1 from 12’s and a Bruce Oldfield dress at 7/1 from 10’s.
It’s turning into one of the busiest betting events of the year, as punters flock to get their bets on the Royal wedding, with Coral bookmakers today reporting good money for a March date, 6/1 (from 12/1), a Bruce Oldfield designed dress, now 7/1 (from 10/1), as well as vast amounts of cash for Westminster Abbey to be the venue, into 1/3 (from 4/6), after pictures of the Royal couple were shown leaving there.
“Betting has been manic since the announcement, with the venue and month proving by far the most popular, and the Abbey and a March date are the best backed. And with an Oldfield dress also popular, we are offering 66/1 for the treble,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton, “we just hope the announcements are delayed a little longer to give our punters more time to get their bets on!”
