Former Talksport presenter Charlie McCann picks out three to follow at his home town track of Aintree on Sunday
There is a wonderful card at Aintree on Sunday on the only day of the year when there are two races over the National fences.
The feature is the Becher Chase with top-weight Notre Pere leading a strong Irish challenge. Scottish National winner Merigo is having his first look at the daunting Aintree fences and connections are targeting the big one back in the spring but at 16/1 I give the nod to Royal Rosa (1.45) ew who was third in the race last year before coming a cropper at Bechers in the National.
The selection got going far too late over the Mildmay course on his reappearance and the talented Brian Hughes takes over today.
Fine Parchment (2.20) beat little of note at Uttoxeter last time but jumped well and looks one to keep on the right side of especially with Noel Fehily taking the mount.
Keki Buku (1.10) is the weekend nap having turned what looked a competitive heat at Market Rasen last weekend into a procession. If in the same mood he will take plenty of beating despite the 7lb penalty.
Be lucky
