Helsinki hosts Carl Froch vs Arthur Abraham in the Super Six series on Saturday night as both fighters look to atone for previous losses.
Nottingham’s Carl Froch is a slight outsider at 13/10 with Betdaq as he heads to Helsinki to face Arthur Abraham for the vacant WBC super middleweight title he relinquished in his first career defeat against Mikkel Kessler back in April.
‘The Cobra’s’ German opponent, who also comes into the bout on the back of his first loss, is chalked up by William Hill at 8/11 to prevail in a contest that also forms part of the Super Six series but Froch has perhaps been underestimated and looks good value here.
Totesport rate him at 5/2 to be given the nod on the judges’ scorecards but in what could be an explosive affair between two men with plenty of knockout power, there’s every chance this one won’t go the distance (10/11, Ladbrokes) and it’s therefore worth considering a modest flutter at 4/1 with bet365 on the Brit to stop Abraham.
