Live on Skysports 1: Sat 14.30: England continue a promising series of Autumn Internationals as 1/2 favs (Paddy Power) over South Africa.
Twickenham will be roaring England on again as they look to exploit one of South Africa’s worst rugby playing years (in terms of results) in recent times. The Boks are 2/1 at to grab a much needed win but a loss to Scotland and narrow wins against Wales and Ireland do not bode well.
England’s fine performance was ever so slightly tempered by a pedestrian win against Samoa and they are staring at a possible seven straight defeats to South Africa but this is surely set to be a different England to that of the last 6 years. Sportingbet’s evens about England to win by 7 or more looks like a good bet.
At the same time, Scotland are a reasonably generous 1/2 at Betdaq to defeat Samoa. The hosts outed South Africa and should have no problems defeating a very stubborn Samoa. A -7 handicap on Scotland at 10/11 (Betfred) is not quite fair but obtainable as they should look to win by 10 or more.
At 17.15 on BBC 2, Wales are up against it when they meet the All Blacks and Boylesports offer 12/1 on the Welsh. With 1/25 seemingly the best on NZ (Ladbrokes), an All Black win seems inevitable but Stan James’ +21 on Wales at 10/11 might be just enough.
Lastly, Australia are a decent 5/4 with William Hill to defeat France. You wouldn’t want to bet against Australia, especially after France’s ordinary win over Argentina.
