Hereford can build on their momentum in League 2 and bring in a 7/5 home win (Totesport) over Aldershot tonight at Edgar Street.
League Two strugglers Hereford have yet to register a home win in seven attempts but they are now unbeaten in four, a run that includes two impressive away wins culminating in Saturday’s 5-0 thrashing of Stockport at Edgeley Park.
Confidence seems to be returning to the Bulls camp then and Jamie Pitman’s men could be poised to grab their first Edgar Street maximum of the campaign as they host Aldershot. Hereford are 7/5 at Totesport to send the Shots home empty-handed and that price is made more attractive by their opponents’ two 3-1 losses on the spin.
At the other end of the table, a point at Stevenage was enough to keep Chesterfield on top and the Spireites’ strength at home suggests they will consolidate their position by collecting three points at Accrington’s expense; a result rated by at 8/11.
However, the real value at the b2net Stadium is in attack for the hosts. Prolific striker Craig Davies failed to find the net at Broadhall Way on Saturday as the clash finished goalless but the Welsh marksman, who has struck ten times in all this term, hasn’t gone two games without a goal in all competitions all season, a run he can continue here. He’s 6/4 with Coral to get on the scoresheet.
Finally, Bury made it four wins on the spin by beating Aldershot at the weekend and the Shakers are a tasty 10/11 (888Sport) to get the better of Bradford at Gigg Lane while Cheltenham, at 7/5 with bet365, can also clinch three points on their patch as Southend visit Whaddon Road.
