A 3/1 winner and a second for Paul Ferguson on Monday. Tuesday’s tips come from Punchestown and Yarmouth
The opening 7f maiden at Yarmouth on Tuesday can go the way of Long Awaited (1:30) who ran a race full of promise on debut at Leicester a fortnight ago.
Being by Pivotal he should handle the testing ground and Michael Jarvis boasts a 36% strike-rate with his juveniles at the track in the past five seasons.
Sir Michael Stoute’s recent Leicester runner-up Sea Moon will also be tough to beat at the track, but he is likely to be sent off at prohibitive odds and the same can be said of Perfect Smile in the opener over at Punchestown.
He should finally get off the mark over hurdles following a luckless campaign last term and he remains highly regarded by Noel Meade.
Later on the card Willie Mullins’ Maggie Connolly (4:15) is another capable of shedding the maiden tag over hurdles and she makes more appeal from a punting point of view.
She chased home the smart Araucaria on debut at Navan and the front pair finished first and second at Wexford on Saturday. A reproduction of that run should be good enough here.

1:30 Yarmouth: Long Awaited
4:15 Punchestown: Maggie Connolly
