Paul Ferguson likes the look of Sinbad The Sailer over the sticks in the 2.50 at Plumpton on Monday.
With the exception of the Silver Tankard at Pontefract, it’s pretty moderate stuff on Monday.
Down at Plumpton, the market for the second division of the maiden hurdle is headed by Betabob and Clu Agus Cail and they have had 35 starts between them without success.
With that in mind it may be worth taking a chance on Sinbad The Sailor (2:50) who developed in to a useful stayer on the Flat earlier in the year.
Sir Alex Ferguson’s five-year-old is likely to get on with things under Andrew Tinkler and, if he jumps adequately on debut, he may take some pegging back round here.
