Live on BBC Scotland: Wed 19.30: Celtic are 1/2 with Betdaq to beat St Johnstone away in the quarter finals of the CIS Cup tonight.
After a painful 3-1 home defeat in last weekend’s Old Firm, Celtic will want to get back to winning ways, for silverware’s sake and to reinstate a winning mentality for the SPL campaign. St Johnstone are 7/1 with to compound their misery and 7/2 (Totesport) to grab a draw.
Celtic realistically should have no problems tonight but perhaps may be out of the blocks a little sluggishly, drawing at the break before going on to win – a 7/2 shot with Ladbrokes.
Rangers also play tonight, a 4/9 shot with William Hill to beat Kilmarnock in 90 minutes and it remains to be seen what sort of team the ‘Gers will put out. Walter Smith has indicated at some tiredness in the squad suggesting the draw, 7/2 at Totesport, could be the bet to follow but in reality, Rangers should have too much for Kilmarnock.
A Celtic and Rangers double pays just shy of 6/5 at Betdaq.
