Live On Sky Sports 3: Thu From 11:00. Angus Loughran previews this week’s Castello Masters and JT Shriners Open.
Sergio Garcia makes a welcome return to golf this week but looks a poor value 12/1 market leader (888sport) in the Castello Masters near Valencia. David Horsey played better than his 41st in Portugal last week and looks decent each way value at 55/1 (Totesport) while Gary Boyd is playing some great stuff at the moment and has a far better chance than the 40/1 on offer at .
Matteo Manassero is a winner waiting to happen and on his first visit to Castello he should go well. This young Italian really excites me as a future prospect and once he gets his first win there will be no more 50/1 odds like there is this week with Stan James.
At the JT Shriners Open, Rickie Fowler is another winner waiting to happen although he is currently in great form; a creditable 7th in this last year. He should be backed this week although I was hoping for better odds than the 11/1 on offer (Coral).
The outsider I like in this weeks Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open is Charles Howell who always saves his best golf for this venue (40/1 Betfred) while Scotsman Martin Laird, the defending Champion, cannot be ruled out at 45/1 (Totesport).
