F1 Betting: Lewis Hamilton may have blown his Drivers Championship chances after crashing out of the Italian GP, he is out to 3/1 with Sportingbet. Compare all F1 title odds.
Lewis Hamilton’s mistake on the very first lap of the Italian GP ensured he ended up with 0 points, allowing Mark Webber, who came 6th, to jump into 1st place in the Drivers Championship.
Hamilton has drifted out to 3/1 with Sportingbet while Webber, who has got a 6 point lead, is 15/8 with bodog. Race winner Alonso still has a bit of ground to make up (21 points behind Webber) and commands a 9/2 with Betdaq but he has moved up to 3rd, just ahead of Button (himself a 14/1 shot with Bet365).
Red Bull are still 8/13 fav with Paddy Power to lift the Constructors Championship and yet only maintain a 3 point lead over McClaren, who are 15/8 with 888sport. The odds are too skinny for Red Bull, especially as Jenson Button showed he still has some fight in him for the season, so perhaps a small wager on McClaren is appropriate. Ferrari, 60 points adrift, are 10/1 with Betfred.
