Ross Fisher, already in Europe’s Ryder Cup team, looks the man to beat at 15/1 (Skybet) in this weeks Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles while of the outsiders, Robert Rock appeals at 60/1 with Totesport.
Colin Montgomorie will have to go back on his word on Sunday night as 3 does not go into 5; Harrington, Casey, Rose, Donald and Garcia all require Wild Cards
and I expect Monty to pick Harrington and Casey and make a late decision between Donald and Rose with the unlucky one on standby in case Westwood does not make it. I cannot see Monty going for Sergio but the Scot may well suprise us all on Sunday evening when he makes his 3 picks.
Steve Stricker at 16/1 with Coral is my pick for The Barclays in New Jersey which is where Donald, Casey, Rose and Harrington will be lining up much to Colin Montgomorie’s suprise. Nick Watney blew a great chance in the final round of USPGA but is worth supporting here each way at a tasty 45/1 (Bet365).
