HORSE RACING: A look at some of today’s market moves in the ante post horse racing markets, including Saturday’s Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh. Compare latest odds for ante post horse racing.
Irish 2000 Guineas:
Canford Cliffs is attracting more attention, Coral have gone from 10/3 to 11/4, Stan James 10/3 to 3’s and Bet365 have also chipped in to 11/4. This all reflects the news that Steinbeck, the joint fav, still isn’t confirmed to run.
Victor Chandler have moved Fencing Master in a notch, 5/1 from 6’s, who is also an O’Brien horse (as well as Steinbeck)
The Derby:
There has been some action in The Derby market, notably for Azmeel. The Gosden trained horse has been trimmed from 20/1 to 14/1 by Victor Chandler after Tom Segal of Pricewise gave a good account. Midas Touch is now 8/1 with Bet365 and William Hill have opted to move Bullet Train in to 10’s from 12/1.
The Oaks:
Timepiece is the significant mover for Paddy Power, 10/1 to 15/2 but this all seems to be based on Henry Cecil’s enthusiasm for her as opposed to actual performances (think 2nd at Lingfield).
William Hill have pushed Aviate in slightly to 6/1.
Gold Cup
Market leader Manifest is the attention of yet more money after the weekend win at York and Blue Square have trimmed to a market low of 3/1 from 4’s.
