F1 BETTING: SUNDAY 18TH APRIL: BBC1: 07:45am Sebastian Vettel is the 7/4 favourite with 888sport to follow up his win in Malaysia with victory in the Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai this Sunday.
Fernando Alonso is the second favourite at 9/2 with Paddy Power and Lewis Hamilton 11/2 (Boylesports).
Vettel also leads the way for qualifying on pole position, William Hill offer 11/10 about the German to start first on the grid, which would be his 3rd pole position start of the season, in only the 4th race.
Schumacher, who has finished no better than 7th, is 28/1 with Betfred to win the Chinese event, though Bet365 offer 1/1 on the F1 legend to finish inside the top 6.
One interesting bet may be Force India’s Vitantonio Liuzzi to finish in the top 10, which is 11/8 with Ladbrokes. The Italian has managed a 9th and a 7th and was forced to retire in Malaysia after a good 10th on the grid.
Red Bull leads the market for winning constructor in the China GP, 5/6 with Coral. The same firm offer 3/1 on both McClaren and Ferrari.
In the overall championships, Vettel is the same price to win the campaign, 7/4 with Ladbrokes, Alonso is 5/2 with Bet365.
Unsurprisingly, Vettel’s team, Red Bull, are fav for the Constructor’s Championship, 888sport give 6/4.
