TENNIS BETTING: William Hill have offered 4/9 about Andy Murray not winning a Grand Slam in 2010 after recent poor showings.
Murray got 2010 off to a good start in the Australian Open, continuing his 2009 form with runner-up place to Roger Federer.
Since then, Murray has really struggled, reaching only one quarter final. His latest showing in the Monte Carlo Masters, saw him lose to Phillip Kohlschreiber in the 2nd round where he was actually booed from the court.
The next major is the French Open at the end of May, a clay event which Murray reached the quarters of last year. Stan James have put 20/1 about Murray to win it but if things don’t improve for the world number 4, even that looks a bit short.
Totesport say Murray is 4/1 for Wimbledon, which gives Murray plenty of time to find some form and defy the critics.
William Hill are 4/9 on no majors and 13/8 for exactly 1 major for 2010.
