2000 Guineas:
Fav St Nicholas Abbey is slowly but surely moving inwards ahead of Saturday’s 2000 Guineas. Victor Chandler moved him in from 6/4 to 11/8 and has this morning moved further into 11/10.
Totesport, amongst others, have also cut price from 6/4 to 6/5.
1000 Guineas:
There has been some interest on Tregoning’s horse Runoush after his win in the Feilden Stakes. Paddy Power has moved from 7/1 to 6’s and sportingbet 13/2 to 11/2.
Sportingbet have also finally been tempted to cut Special Duty to 7/2 from 4/1 to fall in line with the general bookie consensus about the fav.
Blue Maiden has seen some movement, Stan James are amongst the first firms to go below 20’s, they have gone from 25/1 to 16/1, presumably a reaction to jockey Jamie Spencer’s opinion that the filly is “in great shape”.
Chester Cup:
Blue Square have taken steps to shorten Dazinski, knocking a chunk off the 16/1 and going to 11/1. Victor Chandler have shortened Desert Sea slightly from 20’s to 16/1.
The Derby:
St Nicholas Abbey is also the focus of attention here, Boylesports have edged in to 6/4 from 7/4.
