POLITICAL BETTING: The Conservatives lead is down to just two points according to a poll in the Sunday Times and Ladbrokes now make Ladbour 11/2 to win the General Election.
It looked all over just a few weeks ago with the Tories apparently way out in front and as short as 1/20 with some bookies.
Stan James now have the best price about David Cameron’s party regaining power and winning the election at 2/11.
With the polls making the parties so close, Coral have also cut the odds of there being no overall majority. They make a Hung Parliament to 13/8 from 5/2 whilst a majority for the government is now 12/1.
“It looked all over a few months ago, with Labour trailing in the polls and Brown on his way out, but its all change after an incredible recover, and like the Premier League title race, it looks like a close run battle till the very end” Coral spokesman Gary Burton told betrescue.com
A may election remains odds on at 1/5 though Coral make it 5/1 from 9s that we will be going to the polls in April.
