SIX NATIONS BETTING: Live on BBC1: Sat 14:30
Jonathan Shepherd is plumping for a handicap treble for Ireland, Scotland and Italy at 6/1 with Victor Chandler.
Six Nations rugby returns to our screens tomorrow at 2.30pm with Ireland a solid looking 3/10 at Stan James to beat Wales (7/2 Betdaq). The Irish should complete the second leg of their quest for the Triple Crown, which they are 4/9 at Ladbrokes to win, by more than the 8 point handicap set by Victor Chandler at even money.
At 4pm the 117th Calcutta Cup takes place at Murrayfield with England William Hill‘s 8/15 favourites. Statisticians will be aware that home advantage has paid dividends in this fixture for the last five years and Scotland are certain to have their backers at 9/5 at Bet365. Whilst the outcome looks too close to call in the match betting, Scotland get my vote with a 5 point start at 10/11 at Jaxx.com.
On Sunday, Grand Slam favourites France (1/4 Stan James) are unbackable in the 80 minute markets against Italy and whilst they are certain to win, the Azzurri will give them a hard game and could cause a handicap upset when aided by a 25 point start at 10/11 with 888Sport.com
