FOOTBALL BETTING: Live on ITV4: Tues 19:45
Wigan host Notts County and Wolves travel to Crystal Place in tonight’s FA Cup replays. Chris Hutcheon is predicting a home win double.
Only able to draw at Notts County in the pair’s first encounter, Wigan can get the job done at the second attempt by defeating the Magpies relatively comfortably at the DW Stadium.
The Latics have been playing some nice stuff of late but have lacked a little cutting edge, as demonstrated in Saturday’s home defeat to Everton, but against League Two opposition they can put that right and they’re a safe bet at 2/5 with Betfred, to get the better of County (7/1, Jaxx.com).
Roberto Martinez’s side are 6/5 courtesy of 888Sport to come out on top by at least two clear goals and 11/2 (Victor Chandler) to strike without reply while James McCarthy is a player to keep an eye on in the fourth round replay; Stan James quote him at 7/1 to notch first and Paddy Power offer 11/5 for the young Scot to get on the scoresheet at any stage.
In tonight’s other clash, a Crystal Palace side battling well in the face of adversity, are cracking value at 13/8 with bet365 to overcome what will probably be a much-changed Wolves line-up at Selhurst Park.
