Chris Hutcheon previews tonight’s FA Cup third round replays and reckons Coventry City have a solid chance of upsetting Portsmouth.
The cold spell that accounted for the bulk of the weekend’s fixtures has also begun to eat into the midweek schedule but a few FA Cup clashes look set to beat the freezing weather.
At the Ricoh Arena, a mini-upset looks on the cards, with hosts Coventry a tasty 7/4 courtesy of Betfred to win their third round replay against the Premiership’s bottom club Portsmouth.
Also in the West Midlands, at St Andrews, Birmingham entertain in-form Championship high-flyers Nottingham Forest but despite the Blues’ 10/11 favouritism at Victor Chandler, this one could go the same way as the pair’s first clash and finish all square; a result Ladbrokes quote at 5/2.
Elsewhere, Derby are decent value at 11/10 (bet365) to get the better of Millwall at the second attempt and in Tuesday evening’s two all-Championship fixtures, Stan James’ 7/4 chances Cardiff can come out on top at Ashton Gate, where they tackle Bristol City and QPR, at 13/10 with Totesport, can knock out Sheffield United.
